Plex Indoor Sports began advertising with the Midlands Kids Directory the first part of 2012 in order to promote our Summer Camp program. We worked with Kelly Larkins and her graphics design team to establish a marketing campaign that would bring a greater awareness to our summer camp program. They were very easy to work with and produced outstanding ad copies.
The results of our 2012 summer camp program far exceeded our expectations. We had a 250% increase in revenue this year over 2011. We contribute a lot of this success to our decision to advertise in this publication. We decided later in the year to promote our birthday parties in MKD. Again the creativity of this publication was demonstrated when they invited the Plex to be the sponsor of their Birthday Party Club. We began advertising our birthday parties while MKD promoted the Club on the adjacent page. Again we experienced excellent results with advertising in the MKD. Over the past 6 months, our birthday party revenue has increased 50% over last year. This increase can be directly contributed to the MKD birthday party advertising campaign. We are a believer in this publication and feel by adding it to our marketing strategy this year brought the Plex an excellent return on our marketing dollars. Midlands Kids' Directory was just what we needed to advertise our new business. After just one week of running our ad in MKD, we started getting calls left and right. What a great problem to have!
